[drawn on my notepad at work, where this happened]
I really was trying to psyche myself up for work, even though I had an early shift on the day before Thanksgiving.
guy found a way to ruin the shift before it’d even started. the “up-down” look and everything. yuck.
took some very VERY quick notes of the effects of light streaming in through a window and hitting a warm-colored wood… the light looked very cool, but the highlights were quite yellow, and reflected a fiery orange from the wood onto the floor…
It really did need to be super fast because I’ve got to leave for work, like…
Before I go, I’ve considered doing a, instead of NaNoWriMo, a sort of… NaPoBuiMo? “Portfolio Building Month?” Every day lets try to make a portfolio piece, or work on one.
It’s an idea I’m stewing on, on this first day of November.
Anyway- bye for now lovelies!!
no honey… not bird poop.
Some rather self-indulgent Hatoful drawings, heheh…
I drew portraits of my friend Sammish and I as students of St. PigeoNation’s- he is a nicobar pigeon, and I a diamond dove. I had a really hard time trying to draw in the Hatoful style- and I am not so sure I’m successful;; I am just not so comfortable with a really anime style.
also I assure you i’m not that cute in real life, but my friend Sammish is an actual shota cutie like wow
The bottom drawing, more my style, was more fun and ahhh I love it.
Sammish teases me pretty constantly, so that’s an accurate depiction of our friendship, I doubt it’d change if we were birds.

this is still the best story ever told at a talk show
“Animating female characters are extremely difficult. They have to go through a range of emotions, and having a film with two female characters and building distinguishing aspects was hard.” — Michael Lee on animating Frozen, explaining why they removed all the female supporting characters and replaced them with men.
Yeah, I call bullshit.
Whaaaat. Please tell me this quote is fabricated.
Super well! Very well! o 3 o Partly because it is my day off of work today.
And also because I am making a pumpkin latte as I wait for some watercolor paper to stretch out. It’s a painting day!
I finally got around to updating ‘Don’t Let Go’! I tried to push myself as much as possible. Still a little rough as I’ll be entering the finished version in something later this year. Fingers crossed!
Warning: this short comic is a quick path to lots of tears.
